Ñande Róga: The Feliciano Centurión Archival Collection

During his brief but prolific career, Paraguayan artist Feliciano Centurión developed a unique body of work inspired by folk art and queer aesthetics, often incorporating household textiles, references to the natural world, and poignant phrases through which he reflected on personal and universal experience. Published in conjunction with the exhibition Ñande Róga: The Feliciano Centurión Archival Collection, this illustrated booklet offers insight into his output, studio practice, and for­ mative relationships with other artists. It features a series of short texts by the exhibition’s curators on Centurión’s drawings, textiles, and sculptural ob­ jects from 1988 to 1994 along with a reflection by the artist Mónica Giron, interleaved with quotes from the artist and images of archival ephemera.
